Instead Britani did something Angie apparently didn’t think to do first: she filed the trademark. “I stole it,” Britani admitted, on camera, without a flicker of shame. “I was the one who took it on the chin. That’s why.” Attorneys have since confirmed she’s entirely within her rights — saying a phrase first doesn’t protect it, using it in commerce does. Britani used it in commerce.

This is the rare Housewives merch story that isn’t really about a housewife’s business. It’s about a housewife who got insulted, filed the paperwork, and now owns the punchline outright.
