Completely Bare was a legitimate empire, multiple locations and celebrity clientele, the kind of business that makes money rather than serving as a tax write-off with a logo. Her domain was competence, the least telegenic quality in the Housewives universe. She moved through the Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps energy matrix with the bewildered composure of a woman who had accidentally joined a circus and was too polite to leave mid-performance. She didn’t entertain; she attended. The twins, the nannies, the genuine confusion about why everyone was yelling: all very adequate.
